Miss Abigail Jean Biter

Miss Abigail Jean Biter is the daughter of Jesse and Katie Biter of Sarasota. She attends Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School where she studies hard and is part of a small club called "Paws for Planet". As a member of the club, she goes to a park and helps maintain the plants. Abby loves to go on jet skis or just being on the water.

Miss Julia Angela Boehm

Miss Julia Angela Boehm is the daughter of David Boehm and Maryann Olson Boehm of Sarasota. She attends Saint Stephens Episcopal School and has participated on varsity lacrosse and basketball teams, was business manager of the RHS Tartan yearbook, the internship program for seniors and maintains a 4.1 GPA. Julia is active with her travel lacrosse team, Ripcurl Lax, and volunteers teaching the younger girls the basics of lacrosse. She also has over 100 community service hours volunteering at Doctors’ Hospital. Julia is a certified lifeguard. 

Miss Hannah Kathryn Brotherton

Miss Hannah Kathryn Brotherton is the daughter of David and Erica Brotherton of Osprey. Hannah attends Pine View School where she is the Assistant Editor in Chief of The View yearbook and a teacher’s assistant for a freshman biology class. She volunteers for Marie Selby Botanical Gardens and Teen Court of Sarasota.

Miss Madelyn Marie Brown

Miss Madelyn Marie Brown is the daughter of Andrew and Christine Brown of Sarasota.  She attends Riverview High School where she is enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Program.  She is the project coordinator of Riverview’s “Food Forest,” member of the National English Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, and Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society.  Madelyn is a Volunteer at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Intern for the Sixteenth Congressional District’s Office, Student Board Member for the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County, student trainer for Student’s Take Active Roles (STAR) Program with the Boys and Girls Club, Juror for Sarasota County’s Teen Court Program, and is a player on Sarasota Polo’s Intercollegiate Polo Team.

Miss Isabella Delaney Brush

Miss Isabella Delaney Brush is the daughter of William and Cathy Brush of Sarasota. She attends Sarasota High School where she is President of the Environmental Club and Vice President of Science National Honor Society. Through the MaST Research Institute, Isabella won first place in her category in Regional Science Fair 2019, later placing 4th in her category in the Florida State Science Fair.  She has been recognized as Sarasota County’s Sunshine State Scholar for outstanding students in STEM and the Anne Frank Humanitarian Award for her community service work such as mission trips to the Dominican Republic, summer camps at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, and as a teacher aid at Sarasota Middle School. She hopes to study environmental sciences at a top university.

Miss Madison Jane Canterbury

Miss Madison Jane Canterbury is the daughter of Ron and Tracy Canterbury of Sarasota. She attends Riverview High School where she is a part of the swim team, a Christian athlete and co-existence club, an editor of the yearbook, and a member of the Science National Honor Society. In her spare time, Canterbury also tutors students at Brookside Middle School and is involved in the work field, working at the Perfect Dress and being a Wedding Planners assistant. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family and friends being active out in the ocean or shopping at the mall! Lastly, she plans to attend FSU or UF to further her education in achieving a business and marketing degree.

Miss Anna Shelby Dees

Miss Anna Shelby Dees is the daughter of David and Heather Dees of Lakewood Ranch. She attends Lakewood Ranch High School where she is the Secretary of Student Government and the captain of the varsity volleyball team.  She is a member of the School Advisory Council and the National Honor Society and is active in YoungLife.  Anna Shelby also played travel volleyball throughout high school.

Miss Lilian Faye Dougherty

Miss Lilian Faye Dougherty is the daughter of Kevin and Laura Dougherty of Sarasota. She attends Pine View High School where she is Historian of French National Honor Society and President of Peer Mentoring. She’s also a member of BuildOn, Key Club, Cotillion Club of Sarasota and National Honor Society of High School Scholars. Lilian has spent several years dedicated to the sport of lacrosse, where she has played since 5th grade. She’s played varsity lacrosse since freshman year and continues her senior year as co-captain at Riverview. She has also dedicated her time volunteering for the Casey Powell World Lacrosse Foundation. Lilian hopes to continue traveling and spreading education awareness after she traveled to Malawi, Africa to help a school with the organization BuildOn.

Miss Elizabeth Ann Fitzgerald

Miss Elizabeth Ann Fitzgerald is the daughter of Dr. Thomas Patrick Fitzgerald and Wendy Chase Fitzgerald. She is a senior at Sarasota High School and in the Cambridge A.I.C.E. program. Ellie serves as sports photographer at Sarasota High, as a volunteer at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, as a teacher at Gulf Coast Ballet, and at the Church of the Redeemer in various capacities and on missions to Puerta Plata in the Dominican Republic. She attends St. Michaels Conference in Hartford, Connecticut, annually, is a member of Cotillion, and is employed at Lilly Pulitzer on St. Armand’s Circle.

Miss Marissa Renee Fontaine

Miss Marissa Renee Fontaine is the daughter of Richard and Jennifer Fontaine of Sarasota.

She attends Pine View High School where she is an active member in the National Honors

Society, Spanish National Honors Society, and BuildOn. Fontaine is involved with Tampa Bay

Turners Gymnastics, as well as a participant and advisor at Rise Above Performing Arts. She

enjoys volunteering in her community and around the world. In her free time, she enjoys

hanging out with her friends and family and traveling.

Miss Merrill Elizabeth Garlington

Miss Merrill Elizabeth Garlington is the daughter of Michael and Anne Garlington of Sarasota. Merrill is in the AICE program at Sarasota High School, where she is involved in numerous activities including President of the National Honor Society, Troup Leader of Improv Underground, Chamber Choir, Theater program, and Thespian National Honor Society. She is also a summer Camp Counselor at Pine Shores Presbyterian Church. Merrill is an active member of Church of the Redeemer, where she served in the Canterbury Choir, Vacation Bible School, Senior EYC, and attended St. Michael’s Conference and several mission trips to the Dominican Republic. Through various choral programs, Merrill has performed at Carnegie Hall, the National Cathedral, and on the National Mall with the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington DC.

Miss Savannah James

Miss Savannah James is the daughter of Dr. Raymond and Kathy James of both Englewood and Boca Grande. She attends Pine View, is class secretary, co-president of Chinese NHS, member of MUN, member of Diversity Council, & secretary of FBLA. Savannah’s a member of SCF's Phi Theta Kappa honor society and earning her A.A. degree concurrently with her high school diploma.  Savannah is attending Girls' State and is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was on Venice's varsity track team for the past two years and was "Rookie of the Year." She is employed at Scarpa's Coastal on Boca Grande. Savannah attends youth group at church and volunteers as an attorney through Teen Court. She aspires to study Chinese, International Business, and Law.

Miss Eugenia Elizabeth Kornacki

Miss Eugenia Elizabeth Kornacki is the daughter of Peter and Jessica Kornacki. She attends the Out of Door Academy where she is a member of NHS, Tri-M Music Honor Society, treasurer of Global Citizens club, Varsity Cross Country and Track and Field team. She has also played violin for 9 years, mentored middle school orchestra violinists at the ODA, and played at Sarasota Youth Orchestra program for 5 years, currently a member of Sarasota Youth Symphony. In addition, Eugenia has volunteered as a camp counselor for two years at “A Chance to Run” summer track and field camp program for youth. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, golfing, snorkeling, and traveling. Eugenia hopes to pursue a career in business.

Miss Lucy LaCivita

Miss Lucy LaCivita is the daughter of John and Frances LaCivita. She is presently attending The Out of Door Academy, and is an Honor Roll Student. She is a Member of the Cotillion Club. She is an Assistant Captain at Sarasota Crew. Lucy has been successful at Sarasota Crew and has been the Title owner of Multiple State and Regional Championships. She was proud to achieve a Bronze medal at the Youth National Rowing Championships. She is a lover of animals and enjoys drawing. Lucy was nominated for a Congressional Art award this year. She will be seeking a College path to pursue a career in Art and Design.

Miss Cassie Lee Lloyd

Miss Cassie Lee Lloyd is the daughter of Bill and Stephanie Lloyd of Bradenton. She attends Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School where she is the senior class treasurer, a member of the National Honor Society, and a Varsity cheerleader. During Cassie’s sophomore and junior year, she was the class vice president and the JV cheer captain. She is very involved in her school clubs such as Saint Vincent DePaul, Music Ministry, and the Musical Theatre club. Outside of the classroom, Cassie is active in various theatre organizations that perform musicals. These venues include Manatee Performing Arts Center, Spotlight Broadway Show Troupe, and Florida Studio Theatre. This summer she attended an intensive musical theatre program at Syracuse University and plans to study performing arts in college.

Miss Lindsay Kathryn McKenna

Miss Lindsay Kathryn McKenna is the daughter of Joseph and Terri McKenna of Lakewood Ranch. A student at Sarasota High School and participant in the Cambridge AICE Program, she is a 2020 AICE Diploma Candidate. She’s a member of National Honor Society and is Alto Section Leader of the Sarasota High School Chamber Choir. An accomplished cellist and member of the Sarasota Youth Orchestra since 2010, she’s currently cellist of the Youth Philharmonic String Quartet and Principal Cellist of the Sarasota Youth Philharmonic. She’s attended the Music Festivals of the Brevard Music Center in North Carolina, Chamber Music in Grantham and the Philadelphia International Music Festival. She volunteers in the Sarasota Youth Orchestra Program and Summer Strings Camp assisting administration and helping young string players. 

Miss Emily Patricia Merrill

Miss Emily Patricia Merrill is the daughter of David and Dawn Merrill of Sarasota. She attends Pine View School where she is a member of the National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, Peer Mentoring, and Mu Alpha Theta. She also plays tennis for the Venice High School varsity team. Emily is a member of the choir at her school as well as two a cappella groups which she created with her friends.

Miss Ivy Lynn Morton

Miss Ivy Lynn Morton is the daughter of Todd and Kristin Morton of Sarasota. She attends Sarasota High School where she is active in the theater program, a member of La Sertoa, the National Honor Society and the International Thespian Society. She is a member of Church of the Redeemer and a camp counselor and youth leader at Camp Chattooga in Tallulah Falls, Georgia.

Miss Natasha Marie Rittenhouse

Miss Natasha Marie Rittenhouse, child of Heidi and Robert Rittenhouse, attends the Out-of-Door Academy. She is on the varsity volleyball team, participates in the musical and sings in the choir. Natasha is a camp counselor over the summer and loves to babysit around her neighborhood. She just finished a program for future healthcare professionals in which she got to shadow three different types of doctors. She aspires to be a pediatric oncologist and save the lives of children. Natasha is also the president of her school spirit club and loves to cheer on her friends and fellow students.

Miss Emory Elizabeth Sayre

Miss Emory Elizabeth Sayre is the daughter of Brian and Teri Sayre of Sarasota. She attends

Riverview High School where she is a cheerleader, president and founder of help support the

miracle club and is in the English National Honor Society. Emory is a very active member of the

community, volunteering her time at hospitals, interacting and helping with disadvantaged

youth, and is involved in two separate cheer establishments and managed to maintain scholar

athlete status all throughout high school.

Miss Sydney Nicole Sforzo

Miss Sydney Nicole Sforzo is the daughter of Dr. Christopher Sforzo and Terri Vitale of Lakewood Ranch, Florida. She attends the Out-of-Door Academy where she is a member of the National Honor Society and very active in numerous community outreach initiatives. She is the co-founder of The Giving Closet which raises funds for the Taylor Emmons Memorial Scholarship Fund and provides basic needs of clothing and household items for Title I schools across Sarasota and Manatee counties.  Sydney is a nationally ranked tennis player and competes in USTA national tournaments all around the United States. Additionally, Sydney is a passionate volunteer with Teen Court Sarasota.

Miss Campbell Anne Shaw

Miss Campbell Anne Shaw, daughter of Michael and Deena Shaw, is a Cambridge University Advanced International Certificate of Education student at Sarasota High School. Here, she is the Founder and President of The One-Nine Female Leadership Club and a member of the National Honor Society. She rowed competitively for six years where she compiled numerous state championships and competed in the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta. She was elected to the Board of Directors of the Education Foundation of Sarasota as a Student Board Representative for the 2019-2020 term. Campbell is a Teen Adviser for the Food Allergy Research and Education Organization and a member of the Sarasota Youth Orchestra/Youth Philharmonic where she has participated as a violinist for eight years.

Miss Madeline Rose Smith

Miss Madeline Rose Smith is the daughter of Bryan and Linda Smith of Venice. She attends Pine View School, where she is part of NHS, Chinese Honors Society, and has begun her own club called “BuildOn.” Last year she and her team raised money to build a school in Haiti. This year the team is travelling to Malawi to lay the foundation for their second school. The club continues to fundraise and work towards developing other programs at these schools and building new schools. She interns at Mote Marine Laboratory, is a sailor for the Pine View Team and the club C420 team at the Sarasota Youth Sailing Squadron. Madeline is also an accomplished violinist and plays in the Chamber Orchestra at Pine View School.

Miss Mary Margaret Steber

Miss Mary Margaret Steber is the daughter of Mark and Laura Steber of Sarasota. She attends Sarasota High school where she is the secretary of the National Honor Society, a member of Student Government, La Sertoa, and the AICE program. Mary Margaret is on the Varsity Cheerleading team at Sarasota High School, is a member of Incarnation Church and the Cotillion Club of Sarasota. She volunteers with Girls Inc., American Cancer Society, and Honor Animal Rescue and won first place in the 2019 Theatre Odyssey Student Ten Minute Playwright Festival for her play “The Tragedy of Benjamin Finch”.

Miss Savannah Rose Stewart

Miss Savannah Rose Stewart is the daughter of Christopher and Julie Stewart of Sarasota. Savannah attends Riverview High School where she has been actively participating in the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Honor Society, and National English Honor Society for the past two years. Savannah is very involved at St. Thomas More Catholic Church where she has gone on mission trips, done service projects, and regularly altar serves. Daily, you can find Savannah rowing for the Sarasota Scullers. She has raced at the USRowing Youth National Championships for the past two years and is currently being recruited to row in college. Over the summer, Savannah has worked as an intern at a Law firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as she intends to study Law in college.

Miss Lauren Nicole Sutter

Miss Lauren Nicole Sutter is the daughter of Doug and Marsha Sutter. She attends Riverview High School IB Program where has been president of her class all four years, an officer of Dance Marathon, and a member of the National Honors Society and Mu Alpha Theta. Lauren has been a hostess at Shore Restaurant on St. Armand’s Circle for two years. 

Miss Aundrianna Lynn Twigg

Miss Aundrianna Lynn Twigg is the daughter of Steve and Natalie Twigg of Sarasota. She attends Riverview High School where she is on the Student Advisory council. She is a fourth year Riverview high school cheerleader. Twigg is a Teen attorney at teen court in the county of Sarasota, Florida.

Miss Isabella Ann Zeppi

Miss Isabella Ann Zeppi is the daughter and sister of Kirk and Teresa Zeppi and Olivia Zeppi of Bradenton. She is very involved in student government at Manatee High School and has been her class president since sophomore year. When she’s not at school Isabella loves to sail any sort of boat. She took her first day sail when she was 14 days old has been sailing ever since, she says it’s in her blood and that it’s also her favorite pastime. Isabella also loves to ride horses. For years she has been riding English and jumping.  Traveling to Wellington (what Isabella calls the riding capital of the world) to show or watch big riders is one of Isabella’s favorite things to do with friends.
