2023 Debutantes


Miss Charlotte Isobel Ruth Buckley
Miss Charlotte Isobel Ruth Buckley is the daughter of Nicholas and Julie Sammauro of Sarasota. Charlotte attends Pine View School, where she plays the flute in the Wind Ensemble. She is a member of the Pine View Biomedical Engineering Society, and the Safety/Facilities Captain of FIRST Robotics team 3627 ‘Jungle’. Beyond competitions she also participates in STEM outreach presentations at local elementary schools and youth programs. Outside of school she is a middle and elementary school rowing coach at Sarasota Crew. She also participates in the Teen Aircraft Factory of Manasota and the Young Eagles flight program. Charlotte has played the flute in the Sarasota Youth Symphony, and has participated in the Sarasota Youth Orchestra Summer Camp since the 7th grade. In college, she plans on studying Biomedical engineering.


Miss Madeline Nicole Crosby
Miss Madeline Nicole Crosby is the daughter of Lee and Keely Crosby of Sarasota. Madeline is a senior at The Out of Door Academy. She is a seven-year varsity golfer and is also an accomplished equestrian. She loves being a big influence to the younger girls on her golf team and having a strong connection with her horses. Madeline is also the team captain of the varsity girls golf team at her school, as well as being an active member of National Charity League of Sarasota which is a mother-daughter organization that volunteers and gives back to the community. Outside of school, she loves spending time with her family and hopes to continue being a leader on and off the golf course.


Miss Carsyn Lee Dye
Miss Carsyn Lee Dye is the daughter of Brandon Dye and Christine Frey of Bradenton. She is a Senior attending Lakewood Ranch High School and takes dual enrollment classes through State College of Florida and the University of South Florida. She is a former Junior Advisory Board member and a recent graduate of Junior Leadership Manatee. She is also a part of the teen volunteer program at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. In her free time, she enjoys golfing with her father, going to the gym and spending time at the beach. Carsyn is honored to be a part of the 2023 debutantes.


Miss Brianna Nora Folkers
Miss Brianna Nora Folkers is a senior at Cardinal Mooney Catholic High school. She is involved in the math club (Mu Alpha Theta), National Honors Society, the Baking club, Yearbook staff, and the varsity cheer team. She is also a certified Yoga instructor at Thavma yoga studio. She loves being able to guide new students in class and dive deeper into learning how to teach. She plans to use this passion in her career later with Physical Therapy. Bri loves God and spends lots of her free time participating in the YoungLife youth group in Lakewood Ranch.


Miss Alexandra Brimer Frank
Miss Alexandra Brimer Frank is the daughter of Brad and Sharon Frank of Bradenton. She is a senior attending Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School. She has been Vice President of her high school class for the past two years, as well as President of the Pastries for Paws Club, President of the Spirit Club, Editor-in-Chief of the yearbook staff, and an active member of National Honor Society. Outside of the classroom, Alexandra is a four-year varsity soccer and lacrosse player, where she leads the teams as Captain of both sports. Alexandra prioritizes making a positive impact on her environment by frequently donating to memorial foundations and taking part in community service activities. In her free time, Alexandra loves to go to the beach with her friends, attend workout and yoga classes, and bake new desserts for her family to enjoy. She is excited to begin her summer internship with the local Congressman, and persue her passions of studying law and political science.


Miss Kathryn Rose Fulton
Miss Kathryn Rose Fulton is the daughter of Stanley Fulton and Mahalie Fulton. Kathryn is a student at The Out-of-Door Academy. She is a member of the Sarasota Youth Orchestra program as well as a member of her school’s Advanced Chamber Ensemble. Kathryn is a captain on the varsity cheerleading team and sprints for the varsity track team. She enjoys choreographing stunts for her cheerleading team and mentoring middle school cellists and violinists. In her free time, she loves to arrange music and practice one of the 7 other instruments she has taught herself.


Miss Emma Grace Harrigan
Miss Emma Grace Harrigan is the daughter of Robert and Susan Harrigan of Bradenton. She is a Senior at St. Stephens Episcopal School where she is on the Directors List. Emma is a member of the Senior Class Board and the Student Council. She is involved in the Latin Club, the Spirit Club, the Club Blue, and the Lacrosse Club. She was also a past board member of Mam’Selles Service Club. Emma has excelled as an athlete playing various sports including Varsity Golf, Varsity Lacrosse, Cheerleading and Soccer. She helped establish My Breast Friends 941, a non-profit for breast cancer patients which she volunteers for along with numerous local charities. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, shopping, and watching and making Tik Toks. Emma plans on studying pre-med in college.


Miss Violet Jordan Marx
Miss Violet Jordan Marx is the daughter of Orion and Lisa Marx of Sarasota. She attends Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School where she is a member of National Honor Society, Secretary of Spirit Club, member of the Tennis team and a 4-year member of the Varsity Cheerleading team, where she is a Head Captain. Violet also competed on multiple competitive cheerleading teams for 9 years. During her Junior year, Violet was accepted into the Youth Leadership program through the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce. Most recently, she organized and implemented a successful end-of-year used school supply drive benefitting La Alianza in Guatemala City, a home and school for girls. Violet is a member of The Church of the Redeemer where she loves to volunteer every summer for Vacation Bible School. She hopes to attend a top Liberal Arts College.


Miss Isabel Louise McCloskey
Miss Isabel “Izzy” Louise McCloskey is the daughter of Michael and Carol McCloskey of Sarasota. Izzy is a student at Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School. She plays on the varsity golf team, as well as the varsity tennis team. Additionally, she is an active member of the National Charity League of Sarasota, a multigenerational philanthropic organization of mothers and daughters, where she has been Vice President and President.


Miss Chloe Anna Niebuhr
Miss Chloe Anna Niebuhr is the daughter of Anna Nekoranec and Bengt Niebuhr of Sarasota. Chloe is a student at Pine View School. She served as a student representative member on Sarasota’s Public Art Committee, is the historian of the school’s book club Overbooked, the Unit Leader of Growing Strong Stem, and is involved in the National Honor Society. She has played tennis and volleyball since she was young, and plays recreationally. Outside of school, she does art, enjoys volunteering, and spending time with her family.


Miss Sofie Marie Niebuhr
Miss Sofie Marie Niebuhr is the daughter of Anna Nekoranec and Bengt Niebuhr of Sarasota. Sofie is a student at Pine View School. She is passionate about teaching stem to students in underserved communities. She is the outreach director for Growing Smart Stem and has been a teaching assistant at Visible Men Academy. She is a dedicated entrepreneur; she has won national social entrepreneurship awards, served on the board of Visit Sarasota, and is in the process of launching her own business. Outside of school, Sofie competes on the Sarasota Sporting Clays team, plays tennis, and is a fervent downhill skier.


Miss Reese Kimberly Nippert
Miss Reese Kimberly Nippert is the daughter of Jason and Linda Nippert of sarasota. Reese attends Riverview High School where she participates in extracurricular activities. She is apart of National Honor Society, Rho Kappa, better together, treasurer of the recycling club, co existence and fellowship of Christian athletes. Outside of school, she has around 300 volunteer hours and is leader in her church’s youth group. In her free time , she surfs, goes boating, fishing and enjoys her time at the beach with her family and friends.


Miss Andrea Pellizzari
Miss Andrea Pellizzari is the daughter of Mr.Alex and Mrs.Claudia Pellizzari of Sarasota. She is a Senior in the IB Program at Riverview High School. She loves to travel and learn about different culinary practices wherever she visits. When she is not studying, Andrea is flying. She is working on getting her private pilot's license and loves to be up in the air. On the days Andrea has both feet on the ground, she enjoys baking and watching movies. Andrea is a member of the Boys and Girls Club in the Youth Council. At school, she serves as the secretary for the Spanish Honors Society and the event coordinator for Rho-Kappa.


Miss Marissa Jean Saba
Miss Marissa Jean Saba is the daughter of David and Christina Saba of Sarasota. Marissa is a senior in the AICE Program at Sarasota High School. Marissa enjoys playing lacrosse at Sarasota with her teammates and is a part of the National Art Honor Society. She enjoys running, drawing, reading, and participating in community service opportunities with her church youth group.


Miss Olivia Barnes Seidensticker
Miss Olivia Barnes Seidensticker is the daughter of Margaret Barnes and Steve Seidensticker of Sarasota. Olivia is a senior at the Out of Door Academy. Olivia has been a varsity lacrosse player for three years and has loved playing with her teammates. She attended the Alzar School in Patagonia, Chile and Cascade, Idaho for a semester where she perused her passion of whitewater kayaking. She has gone to Camp Merrie Woode in Sapphire, North Carolina for the past eleven summers. Olivia founded Riverside Revival, a project focused on environmental stewardship and cleaning the waters of the French Broad River. She is the co-founder and co-president of Minds Over Matter, a mental health awareness club. Outside of school, Olivia enjoys giving back to her community through volunteering at the Church of the Redeemer, which is also the church she attends. She loves spending time at the beach, hanging out with friends and family, and playing with her dogs.


Miss Carmella Clementine Swencki
Miss Carmella Clementine Swencki is the daughter of John and Michelle Swencki of Sarasota. Carmella is a rising senior at Riverview High School in the International Baccalaureate Diploma program. She is a four-year cheerleader and enjoys spreading positive spirit around school. Outside of school, Carmella is an active member of Sarasota Youth Leadership, and a graduate of the STAR (Students Taking Active Roles) Leadership program. She enjoys spending her free time with family, friends, and riding horses. Carmella hopes to further her passion for animals by earning a degree in large animal veterinary medicine in the future.


Miss Christine Elizabeth Tagle
Miss Christine Elizabeth Tagle is the daughter of Susan and Kevin Tagle. She is a senior in the IB Program at Riverview High school. Christine is the attorney captain of her mock trial team, president of the Rho Kappa Honor Society, first chair of her school's orchestra, as well as being part of a multitude of honor societies. Outside of school, she is a tutor for Smart Kids Tutor and a volunteer at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. In her free time, she loves to play the violin and spend time with her friends. If she's not obsessing over her current read, you can find her having her a mini Taylor Swift concert in her room.


Miss Layla Elizabeth Turner
Miss Layla Elizabeth Turner is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian and Rebecca Turner of Palmetto. She is a senior at Saint Stephen's Episcopal School. She is the captain of her varsity swim team, where she has received several leadership awards. She is also involved in National Society of High School Scholars, spirit club, and an honor roll student. Outside of school she is a part of Mam'Selles, a community service club within Manatee County. She enjoys working out, water skiing, wakeboarding, going on the boat, and hangoing out with friends and family. Once in college, she plans on pursuing a career in the medical field.
